Hanna Instruments Marine Calcium Checker HI 758

The hanna checkers are excellent for giving you definitive final answer of measurement.... They are not 100% ACCURATE but NEITHER ARE REGULAR TEST KITS. They are likely more accurate then traditional test kits and if done properly the more likely the answer is very accurate indeed. Love them! I use ALK, nitrate, Phosphorous and just received and have used the Calcium love them all!

It works but results will vary a great deal if your methodology is not precise. You must use distilled water for consistant results. RO will vary your results. The auto pipette is great but if there is an extra drop of sample on the exterior of the pipette the result will be a high reading. Also the cost per test is about $1.50 so it adds up quickly if you are not very careful.
