We recently identified an issue with our shipping calculator that may have affected your order if it contained aquarium salt (and, in some cases, other overweight products) shipping to Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan.
Due to a system error, orders under $149 that included salt were incorrectly charged:
- Base shipping fee + $20 overweight surcharge + $25 salt surcharge
The correct shipping charge should have been:
- Base shipping fee + $25 per box of salt
For orders of $149 or more, the base shipping fee is free, and the correct charge is simply:
- $25 per box of salt
If your order was overcharged, we've already identified it and will automatically issue the difference as store credit to your Reef Supplies Canada account. No action is required on your part.
