4 Stages of Filtration

Stage 1 – Purtrex 5 Micron Depth Sediment Filter (NSF Certified)

This true depth sediment filter captures rust, dirt, and suspended particles before they reach your carbon block and membrane. Its graded density design tightens progressively as water flows through, increasing efficiency and extending filter life.

Stage 2 – BRS 5 Micron VOC Carbon Block (NSF Certified – Chlorine 15,000 @ 1 GPM)

Engineered to remove chlorine and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from municipal water supplies. This stage protects the RO membrane and improves overall system performance.

Stage 3 – 75 GPD Dow Filmtec RO Membrane (NSF Certified – Up to 99% Rejection Rate)

The 75 GPD Filmtec membrane removes up to 99% of dissolved contaminants from standard household water. It operates efficiently at just 50 PSI of feed pressure, delivering strong rejection rates without excessive pressure requirements.

Stage 4 – Nuclear Grade Color-Changing DI Resin

The final polishing stage reduces water down to 0 TDS. The mixed-bed DI resin features a color-changing indicator, shifting from dark blue to gold as it becomes exhausted, helping you monitor when replacement is needed.
