CarbonDoser Electronic CO2 Regulator V2.0
SKU: CarbonDoser
CO2 Regulator – Precision Electronic Solenoid Control for Freshwater and Saltwater Aquariums | Reef Supplies Canada
CO2 regulators are essential for accurate Carbon Dioxide injection in planted freshwater aquariums or for controlling CO2 flow in calcium reactors for saltwater systems. The CarbonDoser CO2 regulator from Reef Supplies Canada delivers unmatched reliability and precision. Featuring an advanced electronic solenoid valve, this regulator eliminates the risk of CO2 "dumping" common with traditional needle valve regulators. The solenoid opens and closes within a fraction of a second, ensuring your bubble rate remains consistent, precise, and never varies by more than +/- 1/1,000 of a second. This makes it the most precise CO2 regulator available for serious aquarium hobbyists.

Installation Instructions
-
Attach and tighten the regulator to your CO2 tank.
-
Conduct a simple 'bleed down' test to ensure proper sealing:
-
Ensure the "perma-seal" (threaded brass piece with rubber O-ring) is installed in the regulator or cylinder. This creates the seal between the regulator and cylinder. No Teflon tape is needed on the threads.
-
Make sure the black regulator knob is closed (counterclockwise fully). Note: Opening the CO2 cylinder with the knob engaged may damage the low-pressure gauge and void the warranty.
-
Open the main tank valve very slowly, note the pressure, close the valve, and wait 5 minutes. The pressure should remain the same. If it drops, remove the regulator and repeat the process.
-
-
Start slowly when adjusting CO2, as excess CO2 can harm fish.
-
Familiarize yourself with the regulator by placing the CO2 tubing in a glass of water to observe bubble count and size.
-
Adjust bubble count by turning the dial from 0-10, ranging from 4.66 bubbles per second to 1 bubble every 10 seconds.
-
Adjust bubble size by turning the knob clockwise to increase pressure and bubble size, or counterclockwise to decrease pressure and bubble size.
-
Take time to experiment with the unit before connecting to your CO2 or calcium reactor to fully appreciate its precision and adjustability.
