Bonded Filter Pad 24 inch x 15 inch

Excellent absorption and easy to use. I am using this in a power filter tidal 35. I had been debating a skimmer on this 20 gallon tank, but couldn't find a suitable model that looked good as a hob. I started using this floss a month ago. I found it pulled as much or more than a skimmer would, much to my surprise. I changed it out ever 3 to 4 days, but now after a month I can go longer in between as the tank is much much cleaner.

Ok, does a good job but due to it's more compact fibers I found it was clogging up almost every day for the cost I would use standard floss as you get 10× as much and it performs just as well if not better due to the looser fibers not clogging up as fast although you may get loose strands of fluff drifting around

It does the job. I wanted to compare this type of filter pad against filter floss. I would probably just stick with the "loose" filter floss which you can buy in huge bags as it is a far, far better value and, for me, they perform essentially the same. This stuff is good, though, and I would recommend.
