Have used this with sick fish in the past, and when quarantining new fish. Hungry fish will eat it, some will eat it initially and then start spitting it out. I do think it helps though. For some reason other places (not here) seem to stock this in 2-3mm pellets, which is pretty well useless for any smaller fish. You are supposed to be careful not to get it into corals though, which can make feeding in a stocked tank more difficult. If I see someone acting a little strange (sickly) I usually begin including this in daily feedings until the symptoms dissipate. Good tool to have around if you have lots of fish.
